REVIEW:

THE DIRTY PICTURE , defenitely , is an entertainer.
A pure fictional movie, inspired from a real story. The movie underlines the fact " the greatest power in the world is the youth & the beauty if a woman".
For the first time "Heroin-ism" brought goosebumps for me..
Milan Luthria has done a decent job, but the star here is Rajat Arora, who compiled the movie with some great sequences bound by a strong script. And above all, the dialogues (the oneliners) were awesome!!
Vidya Balan: the transition from Reshma to Silk was overwhelming without ever getting out of the base character...ever...
VIDYA.....THAT WAS BOLD!!!
Vishal-Shekhar ,as expected, brought up with some inspiring music.

NEGATIVES : The last song could have been avoided and the script struggles its way out in a some portions.

RATING : 3.5/5

AAKASHAGOPURAM

official site:http://www.aakashagopuram.com/

STORY LINE:Akasha Gopuram tells the story of Albert Samson(Mohanlal), a middle-aged architect who has clawed his way to prominence. His single-minded focus on his job, however, has hardened him and prevented him and his wife Alice(Swetha Menon) from having a meaningful private life.Abrahim Thomas(Bharath Gopi), Samson's former employer whom he "scalped" to reach the top, wants his son Alex(Manoj.K.Jayan) to have more independence in the firm. But Samson couldnt allow it, as he fears that he will be eclipsed by a younger generation of architects...

And he keep Catharene(Geethu),Alex's fiancee, close to him so that he will not leave Samson.

Atthi situation comes Hilda(Nithya) and her presence makes alot of changes in Albert...

and the story continues..

REVIEW:  though it was not considered as a commercial effort, the film was a highly awaited one among serious viewers.but,,on the whole, there was nothing much to experience in AAKASHAGOPURAM(except four or five sequences)..

discussing more about the film-story was a good one.screenplay and especially dialogues failed terribly..dialogues were just like the translation of the drama and the screenplay seems to be  the photocopy of the play..hence the dialogues appeared awkward to the malayalam viewers..

the film has got a goodbackground score and superb photography..

and about the actors,,Mohanlal(though he had nothing much to do) & geethu mohandas was good..Nithya made an impressive opening..others seemed over dramatic..

OVERALL:the film was not up to the mark...

RATING:3/10
